The Department of Communities, Vulnerability and Seniors (Department) funds non-governmental organizations to provide a number of front-line services that enable Queensland in need of protection to improve their lives. The current service contract is valid for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. All changes to the service agreement during this period are recorded in an amendment. The standard suite of contracts allows for a modern and consistent approach to single administration in the allocation of social services and aims to facilitate business with the government. The entire standard suite of government contracts unders and runs under our streamlined agreements, including: the funding plan is part of the funding and service details and outlines funding and service requirements. By complying with service agreements, health care providers are committed to meeting the service obligations and service requirements outlined in the service contract. The division head, as systems manager, agrees to provide the financing and other support services described in the service agreements. Watersheds are generally used in service agreements to determine where funded services are provided. Watersheds are also used to map service data in a common way and to better show coverage and dissemination of service delivery in Queensland. This information can be used to identify needs and gaps in service delivery and to inform future investment decisions of the department. There is a service agreement between the Ministry of Health and all hospital and health services (HHS) for the delivery of public health services. Va`s financing and purchasing guides provide information on obtaining financing, procurement policies and mechanisms, and the process of allocating resources for health services in the VA. The streamlined service contract is used for most of the funding for the provision of services and consists of two parts: service contracts can describe geographic watersheds in two ways: the streamlined short-form agreement is designed for services or activities with low risk and low value.
The abbreviated form agreement consists of two components: service agreements make resource allocation decisions and form the framework for evaluation of services. They are the primary budget accountability tool that defines the roles and responsibilities of the system manager and integrity service providers. Previous versions of contracts and service specifications are available on the archive page. The service agreement defines the health, education, research and other services that must be provided by HHS and the resources that will be made available to HHS for the delivery of these services. It also defines the results that need to be achieved by the SHH and how its power is measured. The service agreements specify and detail the scope of services and targeted areas of activity that the system manager will purchase from health care providers in a fiscal year, in accordance with the government`s policy objectives and budget allocations. Service contracts are executed in accordance with Part 5 of the Health Services Act 2016 (Act). The 2016/17 – 2018/19 Hospital and Health Services, Service Agreements (April 2019), as agreed until 2018/2019 Window of Amendment Three and a final declaration of funding and activity acquired at the end of the service agreement term, is available here.
